If you would look at some schools around the world especially in Europe, you would see that they have uniform embroidery rather than having some normal ones without anything standing out. When you see those uniforms, many films would come into your mind especially the very famous one which is Harry Potter. They have certain embroideries on their uniforms which set them apart from the other groups and so on. You would then ask yourself the question: why would they prefer that kind of uniform than with just the plain ones or better yet just wearing ordinary clothes? Here are the reasons why they prefer that and its importance.
Tradition
You see, European schools and universities are different compared to the US ones. They are pretty strict when it comes to uniforms because it shows how they discipline the students and how they become upright citizens after they graduate from their schools. It has been tradition already that uniform embroidery should be used since the days that embroidery for uniforms were implemented in all of Europe. Most of the European citizens do not mind though and they are pretty much used to looking at now than wearing ordinary clothes when attending school.
Discipline
With that kind of uniform it goes to show that they will become upright citizens when they grow up because they follow instructions right at the start and that is with their uniforms. That is a sign of a person who will become a good citizen and will become a good employee working for a big company in the future or even a boss of it when the time comes.
Individualism
The problem with the schools in Europe is they are too many of them. So for making it more individualistic, even though the look of the uniform is the same by coincidence, the badge that is embroidered on the uniform would be different. This makes them have individualism thus leaving the confusion of the schools. Now the education administration would have an easier way of identifying which schools they are when they are in a convention or on an event where they group together.
Raises funds
Actually there are some shops that are dedicated in doing this kind of service for the families who enroll their children in a certain school. With their help, the shops can raise money for their schools which can be used for many different school projects that needs funds. Some schools in Europe have pretty low tuition fees thus making it hard to make certain type of projects that could help the children. In a way the funds they get from these shops can help at least.
Uniform embroidery has always been one of the most common practices in European schools even today and there have been other countries around the world that practice this now too. They have been adapting the practice and are trying to copy what the European schools have done for many years already.
